Welcome to my blog. My blog is mainly for the sharing of the many projects I make either for swaps, for gifts or just because I was inspired by something I saw on the internet and wanted to give it a try as well. I hope you enjoy what you see and if you have any questions be sure to send me a comment.

When Pigs Fly altered mint tin...

Another altered tin using Graphic 45's When Pigs Fly paper from their Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe paper line.  I've gotten a lot of positive feed back on the tins.  I think I'm going to enter them in the W. Washington State Fair, maybe in a recycled category.  I sure have fun making them.

At Nana's house today.

Sarah, Dan and Luke came to dinner
before going out to a movie. Our little
man is getting so big. 4 mos tomorrow.
Luke stayed with Nana and Papa while
Mommy and Daddy went to the movies.
He and Papa love looking at the gold fish.

My latest mint tin creation.

A cute baby themed one
with little containers for
keepsakes like clippings
from baby's first hair cut,
first tooth.. etc...
Used the new Graphic 45
Little Darlings paper line.

More Mint Tin projects

3 of these were made using Graphic 45's Steampunk Debutant and Tropical Paradise Collections. The 4th one with the sewing design was a gift for my daughters birthday with a gift card to JoAnn's. The paper used for that one was from DCWV Mod Retro paper pack and a sheet of Lil' Davis Designs Dot Mint. As well as a dress form rubber stamp from Inkadinkadoo.

ALtered Altoid Mint Tins

Some years back altering mint tins was "the thing" to do in papercrafting.  And like many "things of the moment" you start to collect the supplies you need for it because your plan is to start making them.  Well for the most part I got as far as collecting tons of tins.  I've been inspired by Graphic 45 papers, because they're so awesome that you hoard all the smaller scraps.  A couple months back I came across a tutorial posted on Craftster.org by "rackycoo".  She had nice finishing techniques that almost make the tin look like it was manuafactured this way.  These projects were perfect for using the G-45 scraps. Here is an example of one made with the ABC Primer collection. A link for a the tutorial I used by rackycoo is this one... http://kbatsel.blogspot.com/2011/02/tutorial-altered-altoid-tin.html

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012 Project

I decided to jump on the band wagon for this project.  I enjoyed following the 12 tags of Christmas but just didn't have the time to devote to it.  I decided to make ATC cards instead of tags because of my idea of how I will display them when they are completed.  I'll probably use a 7 Gypsies ATC 12 unit frame.
